The Finish company Artek is renowned as one of the most innovative contributors to modern furniture design. They stand out for the clean lines, quality and longevity of their products, all made using a combination of traditional craftsmanship and new techniques.

The Foldable Table DL81C, designed by Artek co-founder Alvar Aalto in 1933, introduces a new typology to the Aalto table collection. Designed with compact spaces in mind, the drop leaf effortlessly extends to increase seating and storage space.

To celebrate the reintroduction of the table, it is available in three limited two-tone editions. Inspired by the highly sought-after vintage Aalto foldable tables, the two tones reflect the natural patination that differed between the tabletop and drop leaf. The closed drop leaf is exposed to varying levels of light and contact, resulting in a unique colour pattern. The limited edition finishes are available until the end of 2026.
